ICRS 2026 Auckland · 19–24 July

How to use this planner

Build your own ICRS 2026 schedule in a few taps 🐠
  1. 1
Find talks. Use the day tabs to browse, or the search box to look up a title, author, or topic. Filters let you narrow by room, theme, or day.
  2. 2
Star what you want. Tap the β˜† next to any talk to add it to your schedule β€” the star fills in and the count in My schedule goes up. Tap again to remove it.
  3. 3
Tap a talk for details. Opening a talk shows its full abstract, room number, session, presenter, and co-authors β€” and you can star it from there too.
  4. 4
Check My schedule. Your picks appear in time order for each day. If two overlap, you'll see a ⚠ clash badge β€” you can't be in both rooms at once.
  5. 5
Jot down notes. Open any talk and scroll to My notes to record your thoughts. Tag talks as Revisit or Contact β€” the tags show on the talk list.

Handy extras

  • πŸ•˜
It knows the time. The app opens on the current day and scrolls to whatever is on now (in Auckland time, wherever you are). Finished talks are greyed out, and in My schedule a talk moves to Past 30 minutes after it ends.
  • ↕️
Sort and collapse. Use Sort to group the day by time, room, session or topic. Tap any session header to fold it away, or Collapse all to see just the headers β€” collapsed sessions still show how many talks you've picked or noted inside.
  • πŸ“…
Add to your calendar. In My schedule, Add to calendar (.ics) downloads your picks with times, rooms and your notes.
  • πŸ”—
Share your schedule. Copy share link moves starred talks to another device. Notes are not included — use Backup or Notes (.md) instead.
  • πŸ“
Take notes. Add notes and Revisit / Contact tags in any talk. Notes stay on this device and disappear if you clear browser data. Export or back them up from My schedule.
  • πŸ’Ύ
Back up your data. Backup saves picks and notes for every profile. Restore on the same site address (e.g. the GitHub Pages URL) to recover them on another device.
  • πŸ“²
Works offline. Add the page to your home screen and it keeps working with no wifi β€” handy in the session rooms.
  • πŸ‘€
It's yours. Your name labels your schedule. Picks and notes stay on this device — they are lost if you clear browser data and do not move between devices unless you back up. Tap your name to switch profiles.

Times are Auckland local (NZST). The programme can change β€” the date it was captured is shown at the bottom of the page.

Thank you πŸͺΈ

A note from Nicolas Rivas

Thank you for using this planner! It's been so wonderful to see how many of you have picked it up this week, and I'm so grateful for the response. πŸͺΈ

I'm nearing the end of my PhD and looking for my next opportunity. If you're hiring, or know someone who is, I'd love it if you took a look at my CV (also the "CV" button at the top of the page).

And if you'd like to show a little bit of extra appreciation:

Either way, thank you, and enjoy the reefs. Kia ora! 🐠

Before you go πŸͺΈ

A note from Nicolas Rivas

Thank you for using this app, and for the wonderful response! It has been an honor to help you all get to your talks of interest.

The app will only stay live for about a week after the conference, so please download a copy to keep:

The entire conference schedule β€” titles, rooms and authors.

Just your picks β€” with abstracts and any notes you took in the app.

Each opens your device's print dialog, then choose β€œSave as PDF.” On iPhone: tap the button, then in the print preview tap the Share icon (top of the screen) and choose Save to Files.

Kia ora, and safe travels home. 🐠
