Find talks. Use the day tabs to browse, or the search box to look up a title,
any author (presenter or co-author), session or room — in the Time sort it finds events too, such as the
mixers and workshops. It searches the day shown and offers the other days that match.
Narrow the list by room, or by your Notes, Revisit and Contact
tags. Posters has its own search box: title, author or board number.
-
2
Star what you want. Tap the star β next to any talk,
poster or event to add it to your schedule β the star fills in and the count in
My schedule goes up. Tap again to remove it.
-
3
Tap a title for details. A talk shows its room, session and presenter, plus its
abstract, every co-author and their affiliations once WSN publishes the abstract
book — the Abstract button on a row opens straight to it. An event shows where
it is and the details WSN gave. You can star it from there too.
-

Check My schedule. Your picks appear in time order for each day. If two overlap,
you'll see an β Overlaps note
β you can't be in both rooms at once. Picks in several rooms? The All rooms menu
above them shows one room at a time.
-
5
Jot down notes. Open any talk and scroll to My notes to record your thoughts.
Tag talks as Revisit or Contact β the tags show on the talk list.
Handy extras
- π
It knows the time. The app opens on the current day and scrolls to whatever is on now (Pacific time, wherever you are). Finished talks are greyed out, and in My schedule a talk moves to Past 30 minutes after it ends.
- βοΈ
Sort and collapse. Use Sort to group the day by time, room or session. Tap any time or session header to fold it away, or Collapse all to see just the headers β collapsed headers still show how many talks you've picked or noted inside.
- π
Add to your calendar. In My schedule, Add to calendar (.ics) downloads your starred talks and posters β and your events, unless you untick Include events β with times and rooms. Your notes stay out of it unless you tick Include my notes. It is a file for you; you decide where it goes.
- π¨οΈ
Print or save a PDF. My schedule β print / PDF and Full program β print / PDF open your device's print screen (your schedule's PDF carries your notes unless you untick Include my notes). Computer: choose Save as PDF (or Save to PDF) instead of a printer β in Safari it is in the PDF menu. Android: choose Save as PDF as the printer, then tap the PDF button. iPhone/iPad: in the print preview tap Share β Save to Files (if Safari asks to allow printing, tap Allow). Some in-app browsers and Home Screen apps can't print at all; the planner then offers a link to paste into Safari or Chrome (for your schedule, the link brings your picks along).
- π
Share your schedule. Copy share link makes a link holding the ids of the talks and posters you starred; whoever opens it β you on another phone, or a friend β can add them to their own schedule. Events (mixers, socials) are left out unless you tick Include events. Your notes are never in the link — use Backup or Notes (.md) for those.
- π
Take notes. Add notes and Revisit / Contact tags in any talk. Notes stay in this browser unless you sign in, and disappear if you clear browser data. Export or back them up from My schedule.
- πΎ
Back up your data. Backup saves all your picks and notes to a file. Restore it on another device or browser to merge them back in β or just sign in and let them sync.
- π²
Works offline. Add the page to your home screen and it keeps working with no wifi β handy in the session rooms.
- βοΈ
Sign in to sync. Sign in with Google or an email code and your picks and notes follow you to any device β no more losing them when you clear browser data.

Feedback on this planner
Times are Pacific (Sacramento). The program can change β the date it was captured is shown at the bottom of the page.
Private by design: your picks and notes stay in this browser unless you
sign in, and the optional account stores your email (and your name, with Google), your
picks and notes, and your card and saved contacts if you use them. A share link carries
only the ids of what you starred. The PDF of your schedule carries your notes unless you
untick Include my notes, and the calendar file only if you tick it; both are files for you
to keep. Details in the
privacy note.
